Liver cancer symptoms
Liver cancer early symptoms generally do not become visible in the initial stages. One of the reasons that liver cancer is frequently hard to diagnose is that many of its signs and symptoms are usually nonspecific, meaning that almost any illness can cause those symptoms. More specific signs of liver damage may only appear as the tumor grows.
Liver cancer may cause the following symptoms:
- jaundice
- abdominal pain
- pain close to the right shoulder blade
- unexplained weight loss
- an enlarged liver, spleen, or both
- swelling in the abdomen or fluid buildup
- fatigue
- nausea
- vomiting
- back pain
- itching
- fever
- a full feeling after a small meal
Besides, swollen veins, bruising, high cholesterol, low blood sugar levels, and bleeding are some of the other symptoms experienced by few individuals.
