A motivational interactive session ‘Utsaah’ was conducted by American Oncology Institute at DMCH Ludhiana on Saturday, 22nd February for cancer patients.

The event started with a session by Ms. Rubby Grewal (Hair Extensionist) where she encouraged and motivated the patients who are undergoing treatment for cancer & have lost their hair during the treatment. Suggesting that there are solutions to it, she introduced the people about hair extensions, ways of getting natural wigs and even having permanent hair extensions.

Followed by this, Ms. Arsheen Chawla, who is a Yoga instructor spoke about the benefits of yoga and how is it beneficial to people in general as well as in cancer patients. For the patients undergoing treatment, she also demonstrated various yoga Asanas. It was exciting to see the patients participate actively and happily perform the various Asanas.

With a gathering of more than 30 patients and their attendants, the entire session was very interactive where everyone participated with great zeal.

This happy event was concluded with honoring our speakers and distributing refreshments to everyone
