Dr. Sapam Opendro Singh is one of the most experienced and best Surgical Oncologists in Imphal. He is associated with American Oncology Institute, Imphal as a Senior Consultant – Surgical Oncology.
Dr. Singh earned his MBBS from North Eastern Regional Medical College, Imphal in 1991, and MS (General Surgery) from the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal in 2007. Further, he completed his Fellow Surgical Oncology from Gujarat Cancer & Research Institute, Ahmedabad (2007 -2009) and Research Associate HPB Surgery from Japan in 2014.
Before joining AOI, Imphal as a Surgical Oncologist, Dr. Singh was associated with training and teaching. He worked as a professor and associate professor at the Department of Surgery (Surgical Onco unit) at RIMS Imphal from 2014 to 2021.
Dr. Singh has published extensively in medical journals. He is an active member of some of the prestigious medical associations in India, including the Indian Medical Association, the Association of Surgeons of India, the Indian Association of Surgical Oncology, etc.
