Dr Avinash Rajra is one of the best cancer surgeons in Jammu & Kashmir. He is currently working as a Consultant Surgical Oncology at American Oncology Institute, Jammu.
Dr Rajra is an expert in the surgical management of Head and Neck Cancers, Breast Cancers, Thoracic Malignancies, Gynecological Cancers, Colorectal Cancers and Soft Tissue Tumors. He has a special interest in Sentinel Node Biopsy and Video-Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery (VATS).
Dr Rajra earned his MBBS and MS in General Surgery from the Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu. He completed his DNB in Surgical Oncology from the prestigious Mahavir Cancer Sansthan and Research Centre, Patna.
Prior to joining American Oncology Institute, Jammu, Dr Rajra worked as a Consultant Surgical Oncology at some of the prestigious multi-specialty hospitals in India.
Dr Rajra has published several papers and has delivered professional talks in various scientific forums. He is a member of several prestigious institutes and associations in India, including the Indian Society of Oncology (ISO).
