Dr. Kranthi Kumar is one of the leading Radiation Oncologists in Vijayawada. He is currently associated with American Oncology Institute, Vijayawada as a Consultant – Radiation Oncology. He has immense experience and expertise in advanced radiotherapy techniques in cancer patient management.
Dr. Kranthi completed his M.B.B.S from Rangaraya Medical College, Dr. N.T.R University, Vijayawada and D.N.B in Radiation Oncology from Healthcare Global Enterprises (HCG), Bangalore, Karnataka. He is highly experienced and trained in advanced radiotherapy techniques in radiotherapy planning, brachytherapy, chemotherapy and palliative management.
Dr. Kranthi has highly expertise in 3D-CRT, IMRT & IGRT, Rapid ARC, Respiratory Gating planning for various sites, volume-based Brachytherapy (MRI and CT guided), SRS/SRT & SBRT planning by using TRUE BEAM/ CYBER KNIFE. He has been trained internationally in various advance techniques of radiation therapy. He has been currently practicing IMRT, IGRT, Rapid-ARC, Respiratory Gating and SRS/SRT, SBRT for many years and have successfully treated and benefited many patients with this advance form of Radiation techniques.
