Dr Arivan Ramchandran is a nuclear medicine specialist, proficient in scanning & interpretation of PET/CT scans, Nuclear Cardiology and Nuclear medicine therapy. He is associated with American Oncology Institute Imphal, as a Nuclear medicine consultant. Dr Arivan has been successful in treating cancers affecting different parts of the body and in diagnosing various complex conditions with the help of nuclear medicine techniques. He is highly skillful in treating thyroid cancers with radioactive drugs. He is also proficient in using radioactive isotopes with a gamma camera to understand the different causes of heart failure.
Dr Arivan completed MBBS from JIPMER, Puducherry. He has further completed MD, Nuclear Medicine from PGIMER, Chandigarh.
Dr Arivan has won K.G.S Nanda Gold medal award (Neurology) and best research paper award in GJ STRAUS 2016 from Dr Soumya Swaminathan (Chief Scientist at World Health Organization, WHO). He has also done oral and paper presentations at various national conferences.
