Dr Phanindra Kumar Nagisetty is one of the best surgical oncologists in Guntur and is associated with American Oncology Institute, Guntur as Surgical Oncologist. Having completed his MBBS from NRI Medical College, Dr N.T.R University of Health Sciences, Guntur, he went on to complete his M.S. – General Surgery, Andhra Medical College, Dr N.T.R University of Health Sciences, Vishakhapatnam and M.Ch – Surgical Oncology, Osmania Medical College (MNJ & RCC), Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Hyderabad.
Dr Phanindra Kumar has experience in performing composite resection and reconstruction for oral malignancies, neck dissections, laryngectomy, total thyroidectomies. His key area of expertise lies in gastrointestinal oncosurgery, breast oncosurgery, gynecological oncosurgery. He also performs gynecological procedures such as radical hysterectomy for cervical cancers, staging laparotomy for ovarian and endometrial cancers along with breast conservative surgery, modified radical mastectomies are frequently performed procedures. His experience holds in performing transhiatal esophagectomy, total radical gastrectomy, distal radical gastrectomy, whipples surgery, colectomies, anterior resections, abdominoperineal resection.
Dr Phanindra Kumar special interest in treating bone tumors like giant cell tumor, osteosarcoma with limb salvage procedures with prosthesis for distal end femur, proximal tibia.
