Dr Sumeet Aggarwal is renowned and one of the best cancer specialists in Hisar. He is currently associated with American Oncology Institute, Hisar as a Senior – Radiation Oncologist.
Dr Aggarwal has expertise in delivering holistic cancer care and is skilled in delivering modern radiotherapy techniques. He has rich experience in Stereotactic Radiation Therapy (SRT/SBRT) and Radiosurgery (SRS), IGRT/IMRT/Respiratory Gating/DIBH Technology. He is an expert in Brachytherapy procedures like Intracavitary Brachytherapy, Interstitial Implants for Head and Neck, Soft Tissue Sarcoma and Gynecological Malignancies, etc. He has a special interest in treating patients with Brain Tumors and Cancer of the Head & Neck and the Thoracic region.
Dr Aggarwal completed his MD in Radiation Oncology from Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS), Rohtak, in 2014. He also completed his Fellowship in Radiation Oncology from the prestigious Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, and subsequently undertook training at Varian Clinical Summer School, Hyderabad, in 2016.
With experience that spans over a decade, Dr Aggarwal has worked at some of the prestigious multi-specialty hospitals in India. Recognized as one of the top radiation oncologists in Hisar, Dr Aggarwal has published several papers in various high-ranked medical journals. He is a member of prestigious medical associations such as the Association of Radiation Oncologists of India, Indian Brachytherapy Society, Indian Society of Neuro-Oncology and European Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology.
