Vijayawada, October 25, 2024 — American Oncology Institute (AOI) in Mangalagiri, Vijayawada, recently held a successful Breast Cancer Awareness Program that highlighted the importance of early detection and offered support to those affected by breast cancer. The event, featuring esteemed oncologists and medical professionals, was dedicated to educating the public on breast cancer prevention and honoring survivors for their strength and resilience.
The program included insightful discussions led by prominent oncologists: Dr N Subba Rao, Medical Oncologist and Medical Director at AOI Vijayawada; Dr KVJR Naidu, Radiation Oncologist; Dr Kalyan Polavarapu, Surgical Oncologist; Dr S Mani Kumar, Radiation Oncologist; Dr I Eshant, Surgical Oncologist; and Dr Ch Tabitha, Radiation Oncologist. These experts addressed a wide range of topics related to breast cancer, including risk factors, signs, and screening methods, aiming to increase awareness about the critical role of early detection in effective treatment.

The program was hosted at AOI Mangalagiri, Vijayawada, with facility support led by Dr M Kiran Kumar, Facility Director.
