Dr Ramprahlad is trained in administering Chemotherapy, Targeted Therapy and Immunotherapy treatments. He has extensive experience in performing various procedures, such as central line insertions, bone marrow biopsy, lumbar puncture, etc. Also, he is an expert in cancer pain management and palliative/terminal care of advanced-stage cancer patients.
Dr Ramprahlad, a Gold Medalist, pursued his MBBS from NRI Medical College, Guntur, and completed his MD in General Medicine from Rangaraya Medical College, Kakinada. He earned his DM in Medical Oncology from Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences, Tirupati.
Dr Ramprahlad has over eight years of experience in the field of Medical Oncology. Prior to joining American Oncology Institute, Guntur, Dr Ramprahlad worked as a Consultant – Medical Oncology at some of the prestigious multi-specialty hospitals in India. He also takes a keen interest in teaching and research. He is actively involved in teaching medical students pursuing medical oncology in India.
Dr Ramprahlad has published several papers and delivered professional talks in various scientific forums. He is a member of several prestigious medical institutes and associations, including the Indian Society of Medical and Pediatric Oncology (ISMPO) and the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO).
