After the completion of vulvar cancer treatment, the survivor receives a scheduled follow-up visit plan for monitoring the health of the patient. Follow-up visits are essential for the early detection of cancer recurrence and for managing the side effects of cancer. The survivors may expect pelvic examination and imaging tests during the follow-up visit. Any symptom should be brought to the notice of the oncologists to rule out cancer recurrence. In addition, the survivors should be provided with tips and measures to lower the risk of cancer recurrence.
