Kidney cancer occurs when the cells of the kidney undergo mutation and division and growth of these cells get out of control. The tumor may occur in one or both kidneys. Patients with kidney cancer experience high blood pressure, blood in urine, and pain in the back. Early diagnosis of kidney cancer is important for a better prognosis.
