Stage 1 :
The tumor is larger than two cm but less than 5 cm with a high mitotic rate or larger than 10 cm with a low mitotic rate. Cancer does not spread to nearby lymph nodes to distant organs.
Stage 2 :
The tumor is larger than 5 cm but not more than 10 cm with a low mitotic rate. It does not spread to the nearby lymph nodes and distant organs.
Stage 3 :
The tumor is larger than 10 cm with a high mitotic rate. Cancer does not spread to nearby lymph nodes to distant organs.
Stage 4 :
The tumor spreads to nearby lymph nodes or at a distant site with a low or high mitotic rate.
