Dr Parinitha graduated from the prestigious Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad in the year 2000. Adding more stars to her higher studies, she received postgraduate training in Paediatrics in the U.K. for 3 years and obtained MRCPCH. Later she underwent higher specialist training program for 5 years in various Paediatric subspecialties in the U.K. leading to CCT and FRCPCH.
She gained over a decade of experience in the U.K in Paediatric Oncology, Haematology, Intensive care and Bone Marrow Transplantation from reputed institutes in London like Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children which is one of the quarternary and oldest Children’s hospitals in the World, Royal Marsden Hospital which is one of the oldest and premier Cancer Institutes in the world. In 2012, she moved to her own country with a vision to provide a better standard of care for children suffering from cancers and blood disorders.
Among her colossal achievements, to mention a few are, Establishment of Department of Pediatric Oncology at American Oncology Institute which is a state of the art centre providing comprehensive care all under one roof for various cancers in children like, Acute lymphoblastic leukaemias (ALL), Acute myeloid Leukemias (AML, APML), Non-hodgkins, Hodgkins Lymphomas , Neuroblastoma, Wilms tumour, Hepatoblastoma, Sarcomas, Rhabdomyosarcoma, Brain Tumours like Medulloblastoma, ependymoma, Gliomas, ATRT etc, , bone tumours like Osteosarcoma, Ewings sarcoma, PNET etc. She set up multidisciplinary services for children with Thalassemias, Haemophilias and cancer survivors.
