Dr. Krishna Kiran is one of the top surgical oncologists currently working as a Consultant- Surgical Oncology at American Oncology Institute, Hyderabad. He earned his MBBS degree from Andhra Medical College, Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vishakhapatnam and M.S. in General Surgery, Osmania Medical College, Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Hyderabad. He also got his MCh in Surgical Oncology from Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU, Varanasi.
Dr. Krishna Kiran completed his Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery (FMAS) certification from World Laparoscopy Hospital, Gurgaon. He is well trained in Laparoscopic techniques. His area of expertise lies in breast, gynecological and thoracic cancers. He has special interest in Sentinel node of biopsy and HIPEC.
Dr. Krishna Kiran has published various papers in both national and international peer reviewed journals. He is the recipient of the “Dr. Vyaghreswarudu” award for the best paper presentation on the topic “Surgical Management of Portal Hypertension” in APASICON 2006. He is a Member of Association of Surgeons of India (ASI), Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India (AMASI), World Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons (WALS).
