  • Stage 1 : Patients with stage III gallbladder cancer may have their cancer spread to the nearby organs, such as the stomach, small intestine, or liver, and the nearby lymph nodes.
  • Stage 2 : At this stage, the cancer is limited to the inner layers of the gallbladder.
  • Stage 3 : At stage II, cancer invades the outer layer of the gallbladder.
  • Stage 4 : It is the most advanced stage of the disease. Cancer spreads to distant organs.
