  • Stage 1 : Cancer has spread to connective tissue, blood vessels, lymph vessels, urethra, or erectile tissues and one to two lymph nodes (IIIA) or three or more lymph nodes (IIIB).
  • Stage 2 : Cancer spreads to nearby structures, such as the prostate or pubic bone, or distant organs.
  • Stage 3 : Cancer is present only on the top layer of the penis.
  • Stage 4 : Cancer spreads to connective tissue and blood vessels or lymph vessels or the urethra or erectile tissues.
  • Stage 5 : Cancer spreads to the connective tissue, which is present just below the upper skin. There is no spread of cancer to the lymph nodes.
