Throat Cancer

Stages

• Stage 1 : During this early stage, the tumor is limited to the upper layer of cells of the affected throat section.
• Stage 2 : The tumor has spread to surrounding areas.
• Stage 3 : It is the advanced stage during which the cancer has spread to distant organs.
• Stage 4 : At this stage, the tumor spreads to the nearby lymph nodes.
• Stage 5 : The tumor invades the inner layers and is limited to only the affected part of the throat.
