Prevention
There are currently no methods or medications that prevent anal cancer. However, certain measures reduce the risk of anal cancer, such as:
- Getting HPV vaccine
- Practicing safer sex, such as the use of condoms
- Quitting smoking
- Receiving appropriate treatment for HIV and strictly adhering to it
