  • Stage 1 : Cancer spreads to the rectum, urinary bladder, or distant organs such as bones or lungs. Type 1 endometrial does not have the potential to spread quickly and is less aggressive. However, type 2 endometrial cancer quickly spreads beyond the uterus and requires aggressive therapy. Fortunately, most cases of uterine cancer are diagnosed whne the cancer is still limited to the uterus.
  • Stage 2 : At this stage, cancer has not spread beyond the uterus.
  • Stage 3 : At stage II, cancer spreads to the cervix.
  • Stage 4 : Ovaries, vagina, and/or lymph nodes are also affected by cancer.
