Symptoms

    Some of the common symptoms of vaginal cancer include:

    • Vaginal discharge
    • Abnormal vaginal bleeding between menstrual periods, after menopause, or after intercourse
    • Pain during intercourse
    • A feeling of lump or mass in the vagina

    If vaginal cancer spreads to the nearby structures (advanced vaginal cancer), the additional symptoms include:

    • Constipation
    • Back pain
    • Swelling in the legs
    • Pelvic or abdominal pain
    • Frequent and painful urination
